Filmed at the 2013 Caravan and Motorhome show in Manchester, we take a look at the new layouts introduced January 2013. The 644 a 4 berth high-line model with rear lounge and the 662, a 2 berth low-line model with fixed rear bed.
With its new upmarket and sporty exterior the Escape range of Motorhomes has been turning many heads recently. Swift TV has come to the Caravan and Motorhome show in Manchester, to find out why?
With me is Gary O’Brien, the National Sales Manager at Swift. Gary, what has made the Escape range such a popular choice this year?
Well Blair, sales across all our models have been driven by three key elements: Build quality, High level of specification, Competitive Pricing.
This is particularly true on the Escape range which offers exceptional value for money at a starting price well below £40,000.
You have introduced two new Escape layouts, why is that?
We recognise that the success of the Escape range is driven by customers and that layouts are a key factor when choosing which motorhome to buy.
There is also a special offer of a free Comfort Pack worth £995 for anyone buying an Escape before the 24th February. Full details are on the website swiftgroup.co.uk.
The two new layouts that Swift has introduced are the 644 and the 662. Outside the two models sport similar graphics but it is inside that the differences are apparent, so let’s take a look .
The 644 is a 4 berth highline model, with 4 seatbelts and a side washroom. The roomy rear lounge converts into a double or two single beds and there is a double bed above the cab. The 644 is well suited to those with children or grandchildren.
The 662 is a genuine couples motorhome, it is a 2 berth, low line model with spacious parallel lounge seating, a fixed end bed and side-end washroom including a shower.
Both models come fitted with the standard specification you find in all Escapes, like the Dometic fridge and Truma heating, as well as a TRACKER retrieve and a 10 yr warranty.
With these two new models, the Escape range now comprises 4 high line and 2 low line, with two models having 6 seatbelts.
There really is a choice for everyone who wants an economical, well equipped motorhome.
