Filmed at the 2013 Caravan and Motorhome show in Manchester, we take a look at the new layouts introduced January 2013. A single axle 6 berth Major 6TD in the Sprite range and three twin-axle layouts in the Swift Challenger SE and Sterling Eccles SE ranges
Welcome to Swift TV, for the latest news on the Swift Group. We are here at the 2013 Caravan and Motorhome Show in Manchester to find out about the new layouts that Swift has introduced this January in the Sprite, Swift Challenger SE and Sterling Eccles SE ranges.
With me is Nick Page Commercial Director at the Swift Group.
Thanks for joining me Nick. Congratulations I understand the Sprite and SE ranges have been picking up a few awards since we last met.
Thanks Blair, we have had a very successful season so far and we are really pleased, that in the awards voted on by the caravan public, the SE range has consistently come out on top.
It appears quality build and high value specification delivered in an affordable package remains a winning combination.
You have recently introduced new layouts on the SE and Sprite, why is that?
Mainly because of customer demand, sales have been outstanding on the SE and the Sprite range, particularly the more family orientated models.
Layouts are also a key factor for people when they are choosing which Caravan to buy, so we have expanded the range to give more choice.
All the new layouts are either 4 or 6 berth, with three new twin axle models on the SE range and one new single axle Sprite model.
Thanks Nick, let’s take a look then at these new models starting with the Sprite Major 6 TD
Based on the successful Challenger Sport 586, the Sprite Major 6 TD delivers a lighter, more affordable 6 berth option. With side washroom and kitchen, there is a large front lounge and a spacious rear dinette that can convert into either a single or double bunk, and there are two fixed bunks also.
Moving onto the SE range, there are 3 new twin axle models that deliver both space and luxury rarely found at this mid/high end level
Incredibly versatile and therefore ideal for families, there are two large lounge areas both with TV points. The lounge at the front has the sunroof and so benefits from extra day light, while the rear lounge has fixed bunks above. At night you can choose from 6 single beds to 2 doubles and 2 singles.
The 2nd model is the 4 berth Challenger SE 620 and Eccles SE Voyager, this is a larger version of the popular 565 or Solitaire with extra front lounge space, two fixed single beds and an end washroom with shower.
There is similar end washroom and shower on the final new model the Challenger SE 645 and Eccles SE Wayfarer. This is a bigger version of the 4 berth 580/Quartz with the desirable fixed island bed and spacious front lounge.
As with all Swift, Sprite and Sterling caravans, each new model comes with a high level of standard specification along with a 10yr warranty and a Tracker Retrieve.
